Does home brew have to be warm when u brew it ?

You have to boil the wort in order to extract the alpha acids from the hops and extract the malt flavor from the grain. Even if you use liquid extracts, you need boiling water to dissolve the goo and to sanitize the wort. You cool the wort to about 80F before pitching the yeast. Afterward, you want the wort to be cold (lagers), cool (ales) or warm (wheat beers).
